BE-EGTC: From borders to bridges

The BE-EGTC project aims to establish and pilot a Cross-Border Coordination Point (CBCP) covering the Italy–Austria–Slovenia border area. The project addresses a pressing need: administrative, legal, and technical obstacles still limit cross-border cooperation and hinder territorial integration. The CBCP will act as a single, stable contact point for public authorities, businesses, and citizens, streamlining communication with national institutions and ensuring consistent, efficient handling of cross-border cases while strengthening multilevel governance. BE-EGTC will make borders more permeable, support economic development, strengthen integration into the Single Market, and serve as a replicable model for other European border regions.
